Recovered Living offers both private pay and ACC options. ACC funding applies to residential treatment only.

Our day, partial, and virtual outpatient programmes are available following completion of our residential programme.

Private Pay Admission Process

• Book your free 2 hour phone assessment via the RLNZ website.
• After your assessment, we’ll send a medical form for your GP to complete, including blood tests and an ECG. Our GP will review this and, if appropriate, offer you a place on our waitlist.
• When an admission date becomes available, we’ll send an invoice for a deposit and a final medical form to complete within 14 days of admission.
• Once payment is received and you are medically cleared, your admission to RLNZ is confirmed.

Please note: Additional steps may be required depending on your individual circumstances.

ACC Sensitive Claims

Recovered Living NZ is contracted with ACC to provide fully funded residential care where the eating disorder is covered under a Sensitive Claim.

ACC approval is not guaranteed and requires a process
Timeframes are approx. 5–7 months (new claims) or 3–4 months (existing claims)

ACC Process

• GP/therapist refers you to ACC
• You book a phone assessment once approved
• Complete a GP medical form
• Attend an independent psychiatrist assessment
• ACC confirms funding
• Due to demand, ACC admissions begin with a 4-month stay, with possible extensions. Stays of 90+ days are linked to stronger recovery outcomes.
