I knew that if I could just fight the battle of recovery - as miserable as it was - then I could eventually get to the point of Recovered and have it be over.
If you are on the road to recovery, you are on the right path. You have everything to gain from doing that journey. You may fall down a lot and you just have got to get back up.
Life is so good on the other side and it's worth it. Go slow but stay steady. The steadiness is what is going to build the momentum
I have a deep deep respect for my body. There is almost a joy in the fact that this IS my body and this is how God designed my body to be.

When I first started recovery I didn't believe I could do it. Talking with people who had recovered helped me realize it was possible.
Anyone can get better. The ones who don't are the ones who give up.
I got frustrated and bored with using that as a mechanism of healing, because it wasn't working
